Ordered take out, chips were bland, fish wasn't crispy, sauce was good. It was pretty expensive.

Been eating at Beryl's at least once a year for 5 years and from day 1 the best fish and chips I know. We have to drive a long way to this wonderful city. The anniversary menu, fish soup - fish & chips - sticky toffee pudding, is highly recommended. Reservations are recommended.

Folks, this is a nice restaurant, good food, nice atmosphere, and very nice and pleasant service. For a good price you have tasty food that is also filling. So I'll say come and see!

Very attentive and friendly staff, the food was really tasty and we also sat quite well, even the delivery service was very careful with its large delivery box. On top of that, you charged my cell phone, thank you very much 👌

Delicious food! A lot of it is homemade and we work with good products. Lots of plant-based, very creative burgers👌 And we had a very nice conversation, very nice people! Good luck with your beautiful restaurant!

Insanely delicious food! Dishes are rock solid & everything is very well seasoned, which not everyone can do with fish & vegetarian. Owner clearly knows what she does, very hospitable & good vibe between the employees. This is nice. Recommended in Deventer! Get the sticky toffee cake 😋😋😋!!!

This is such a lovely place with such a friendly owner. I did not have much time to eat and she made it possible. The atmosphere of this small restaurant is very nice, inside or sitting outside next to the church with a nice view. The fries & fish are made separately and glutenfree, the batter for the fish is made i.e. of chickpeas. It was sooo tasty, the portion is quite big, the dip was also nice. And such friendly and helpful staff! Thanks a lot for being allergy/ food intolerance aware. I will come back :-)

I just ordered the Hake with fries, salad and Scottish egg and it was delivered nice and hot and well packaged. The fish is of very good quality and the coating around it was super tasty. Light and crispy. As if the batter had been made with sparkling spring water. The Scotch egg is also very tasty. Highly recommended. The sauces, fries and salad are also worth it. Unfortunately no photos were taken. I was attracted to the delicious food.

To be honest, I haven't had much better vegan food than this for these prices, with enough choice for the whole family. In addition to the excellent food, the boss and the service were super friendly, it was nicely decorated in a beautiful location with a view of the tower. We happened to walk by, because even though we had searched for "vegan restaurant Deventer", this restaurant was not at the top of the results list, even though they well deserve that place.Go try it yourself!

On our first evening in Deventer we enjoyed great fish and very friendly and helpful service at Beryl's. We felt very welcome!The squid rings and the baked cauliflower as a starter were also delicious... if we're ever in the area again, we'll be happy to come back.

Truly the tastiest vegan food, where you don't feel like the food is subject to restrictions at all. On the contrary, what they manage to achieve in the kitchen every time is truly delicious! Also try the desserts.

Holy moly! This was truly the best fish I have ever eaten. The fish was tasty, everything was at the right temperature, the fish was crispy and the salad was fresh. I would love to come here again with my sons.

Friendly, efficient and helpful staff in an attractive part of the town with outdoor seating. Finding vegan food abroad is a real treat and this wee gem of a restaurant is a real treasure to find. Excellent cruelty free food and a choice of dessert, ice cream cake is out of this world thank you Beryl and team I’m taking the taste home to Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 delicious ❤️

So nice when Beryl's cooks for you! And they deliver it quite quickly too. Delicious hake with Scottish egg, fresh salad and tasty fries. Add homemade sauce, great. All such good and fresh quality. And if a super friendly delivery person comes to the door and says, pay later (with the QR code on the receipt), go and have a nice meal first... 😊 then your whole evening will be good 😘

Fine, a shop with tasty vaga offerings for my table companions. I myself took cod in a crispy jacket with salad. This was fine, average. The tomato soup with fish was really good. I eventually got this from the house because it took a long time (there was hardly anyone on the terrace). Service was also top notch. My dinner companions were satisfied with the vegetarian dishes and the place on the square near the church was very nice.

As somebody who does not eat gluten this place rocked my world with the banana flower... Delicious!!Personally I don't have celiac but was very happy that the owner checked my level of intolerance and whether or not they need to use a separate oil and clean surfaces etc, that's really special and rare in my limited experience.Much love, I look forward to eating here again.

Great fish & chips spot we accidentally stumbled upon. Starting off with the welcoming staff and good atmosphere. Upon sitting down the first (and only) moment of stress set in: the menu options are amazing (for both beer and food). But let me tell you, making a decision was difficult: it all seemed so good. And let me tell you: it was.Highly recommended, good pricing combined with great taste and amazing staff. Will be visiting again.

This place is amazing! Selfmade fries with all sorts of mayonaise. The fish was great aswell. It was all really affordable. Very high quality food and kind service!

IS NOT ENOUGH!!! 5 Stars is definetely not enough to do this LOVEly gastronomy GEM justice. a hip slick quiet JAM of drastical nutrition. at least that's what the bottle of BEER there said somehow. BEST PLACE for VEGAN, BURGER and FISH enthusiasts! on a scale from zero to pink, it was piggy pink. like the delicious burger i was lucky to enjoy.6 star beverages + 7 star 1200+years church backdrop + 8 star menu + 9 star service × 10 star chef = NOTHING 2 complain...feeling warmly welcomed like home here but being really sad i have to go back home.THX 4 the eatening...p.s. forgot the FISH SOUP! ^_* a MUST EAT...

Superb place to eat. Never tasted beter cod than here and the batter was crisp & tasty. Chips were delicious, especially with the vinegar. Owners were very friendly and took the time to make conversation. All in all... we went back the next day for a second tasting!!
